This is the problem the Trump administration is going to have.

It’s been made clear to us that many members of our armed forces have betrayed their oaths. We know from history that this is typical. Many people see an authoritarian government rising and choose to side with them because they think they’ll win due to their tough guy theatrics.

But America is too mixed at this point.

This isn’t the Civil War where the sides were generally geographically separated between north and south. Liberals and conservatives are all mixed in across the country. When it comes down to the wire, you aren’t going to convince many service members to bomb, shoot, murder in a region where their own family and friends live.

Even if he had every last member of the military ready to do it, citizens still vastly outnumber them. But he won’t. The number of actual diehard MAGAts ready to actually start randomly murdering Americans en masse in all the mixed areas of our nation is not remotely enough to stop us if he decides to actually pop this off.

If they’re smart they’ll dial back and turn up the heat slower so they can implement their authoritarian state slow enough that the average person doesn’t notice until too late. Right now they’re escalating too quickly. Getting too many people’s attention. Probably because Trump knows he doesn’t have much time left. And because they’re stupid.

They will eventually attempt to prevent anyone who registered/voted Democrat from purchasing firearms.

Buy them now. Help everyone you know get armed.

Everyone should be arming themselves and everyone they know. Eventually they will try to prevent anyone who registered/voted Democrat from purchasing a firearm. Everyone should be forming networks with like-minded people using only end-to-end encrypted messaging apps. This is not going to stop. This is not going plateau and fizzle out. We’re locked in now. It will escalate until we live in a fully authoritarian state or until we do something about it.

It’s inevitable anyway. Let’s just cut to the chase. No sense putting band-aids on it and putting it off for a little while. System will still be inherently broken and eventually lead to strikes/riots anyway. Might as well get 'er started.

I mean this is pretty simple for Democrats.

Americans decided to tell Democrats to go fuck themselves after Biden had a legislatively successful presidency in which he tried (and in many cases succeeded) to pass a ton of legislation to help Americans. Not to mention all the historical data proving how much better Democrats are for average Americans than Republicans.

It was a slap in the face from the ignorant American electorate.

So now Democrats just have to sit back and let Americans find out what happens when they abandon Democrats and put all their eggs in the Republican basket. Let them suffer until they learn the error of their ways…or don’t. Cuz this is America and it’s pretty stupid so there may not be any lessons learned.

They really don’t have to do anything. And shouldn’t.

Things are so polarised that Republican voters will seemingly accept anything of their party rather than accept a Democrat.

Not sure if people get this yet or not. We either crush them in the next election or we end up physically fighting them. This is how fascism works. They have signaled to us that there is no red line for them regarding their own representatives. None. They will absolutely allow this to go all the way unless we stop them. And, at this point, I’m not sure the election thing is going to work because when fascists are in control, they tend to not allow fair elections. I mean they attempted a violent insurrection the last time they lost. Who actually thinks they’re going to allow a fair election?

I, for one, will not be fine with them just being removed from power. SEVERE punishment must be served or I start only voting for the people running on making that happen. You do not get to harm an entire nation of people without serious prison time or death sentences. We already learned what happens when you let a bunch of violent racists off the hook and integrate them back into your society without proper punishment setting an example going forward.

We did already impeach him…twice. But now Republicans are in total control (see stupid Americans comment above), so Republicans would have to impeach him this time, but they’re all spineless fascists, so that isn’t happening. In America impeachment is just the first step, then the Senate has to actually remove them. After the first two impeachments the spineless fascist Republicans in the Senate refused to remove him, even though it was at the very end of his first term and gave them the perfect opportunity to permanently rid themselves of him. But again, they are spineless fascists.

Why do many Americans support him? It’s a combination of stupidity, ignorance, hate, and fear. Humans who don’t receive a proper education or upbringing end up being easily manipulated by those things. That’s the case here in America. Expect it to get a whole lot worse.
