OP said they were paraphrasing his comments, not quoting him; the word “final” doesn’t appear in the linked article at all.
I had to double check because it caught my eye, too.

It’s not “liberals” they’re targeting with these sorts of tactics, per se, but poor and minority populations, who tend to vote blue out of self-defence. Of course, many of these laws are also applied unequally within states, such as the recent raids of Latino voter organizations in Texas.
Here’s a priority for them: drop out endorse Kamala. Stop sapping votes from the left, you’ll let Trump win the electorial college and doom the world.
She just said it was an option that she was potentially open to, when directly asked if she would nominate a Republican to her cabinet. The headline is misleading.
She isn’t. Or rather, she hasn’t actually pledged to do so. She just suggested that it was a possibility she was open to, when asked directly about it by the CNN interviewer.
This has been true, but violating voting rights brings him into Federal jurisdiction. Here’s hoping Biden’s DOJ will bring charges. I’m not holding my breath, though.
The maddening part is that a lot of those same people will pride themselves on their immigrant heritage, and proudly call America a nation of immigrants. Just, not those immigrants, I guess. 😒
As for the last bit about origins: In my case, it’s all three! 😅 My family contains indigenous people, early Spanish explorers, and Irish immigrants.
My grandfather is buried in that cemetery. He joined the army to stop men like him from taking power.
The disrespect is palpable, he might as well spit on my Abuelo’s grave while he’s at it.
We are not a monolith, but the GOP is racist against all of us for our skin color, they are the monolith, and we should all be united against their bigoted politics.
This really seems like it’s violating some sort of civil rights and/or voting rights law… And if it isn’t, it really damn-well should be!
Not by throwing somebody at the presidency once every 4 years, no.
You need to develop local political establishments, structures of dual-power, and either replace one of the 2 parties at some level, or change the electoral FPTP (First Past the Post) system that gives us 2 parties.
Be it ranked-choice, approval voting, S.T.A.R. voting, pretty much any of these are better (though admittedly, with their own unique setbacks) than FPTP voting. That’s not to mention gerrymandering, or electoral finance reform!
There’s a thousand steps before you get to the point of electing a President who’s neither a Democrat nor a Republican.
He really looks like a walrus, with that moustache. Right?
That question wasn’t about trans rights, it was about trans identity. A lot of people think of trans people as “those odd queers over there,” but also, “Well they seem to be minding their own business, so I don’t see why they’re supposed to be a roblem,” when it comes to discrimination against them.
Remember, the 2022 midterms were largely about abortion and trans rights. The GOP lost that fight pretty hard. Most Americans are supportive of trans rights in the same way they’re supportive of gay marriage: “Well, I wouldn’t do it, but the government has no business meddling in people’s bedrooms!”
The median American political disposition is, at times, more socially conservative than we might like, but still has a strong believe in civil libertarianism. Or, as Tim Walz likes to put it, “Mind your own damn business!”
All money has been play money since the end of bartering and establishment of currency. Coinage is just more widely exchangeable for goods and services than my cows, donkeys, goats, and geese. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Little do you know, we’ve been encircling big crypto with our own group of great swords ⚔️
Our only solace is that this might give Kamala just the slightest more of an edge in Texas. She’s already expected to narrow the gap from ~5% in 2020 down to 2-3% this year, with a fraction of the campaign dollars spent. Here’s hoping she can manage blue-Texas 🤞
What center?
Between the Democrats and Republicans? The GOP that wanted to brutalize Pelosi on the steps of the capital? The GOP that laughed when a man with a hammer nearly murdered her husband with a hammer? The GOP that wants to roll back all civil rights to a time before the revolution? The GOP that wants to install a fascist dictatorship?
Or do you mean the center of where the American public stands?
The center of what Americans want is a hell of a lot more progressive than you, Nancy.
That’s what they said, but suggested calling it something other than what it is to appeal to the American public.
Maybe you night not be the one to paying attention.
Ah yes, and they can replace him with a real politician: RFK jr.
