Yeah sure, they sued Germany which is a member of the ICJ instead of America which doesn’t recognize it.

Nicaragua drags Germany to ICJ for ‘facilitating Israel’s genocide’ in Gaza

The Latin American country accused Berlin of violating international law in its continued funding for Tel Aviv and asked the ICJ to order emergency measures that would force Germany to cease military aid to Israel, and restart funding to the UNRWA.

“By sending military equipment and now defunding UNRWA which provides essential support to the civilian population, Germany is facilitating the commission of genocide,” Nicaragua said in its filing, citing the 1948 Genocide Convention and the 1949 Geneva Conventions on the laws of war in the occupied Palestinian territories.

          You’re right.

          Holy shit. This never happens.

I feel like I just saw a unicorn.

I hold education over ego. If I’m proven wrong, I’ll admit it and see it as an opportunity to learn. With all of the misinformation that’s pumped our way, we need to work together to cut through all of the lies.

I can tell. You have my respect for that, and I fully agree about combatting misinformation.

Misinformation is the most damaging thing impacting societies globally right now.

I couldn’t agree more. Tying emotional investment into partisan politics compels people into confirmation bias, encouraging them to defend whatever they’re told as truth. It’s sickening and terrifying.

Sorry I was only a passing observer though I did learn a little about international law from it which is neat.
