What a coincidence! In my household we just went to the bat store yesterday to purchase celebratory bats in case Netanyahu came to visit us! The kids go some heavy gauge plastic ones. I, on the other hand, found a nice, hefty aluminum one with heavy embossing. It has a lot of sharp edges and features that could help turn things around.

In my opinion you need solid ash for a good baseball bat. Aluminum ones can dent when hitting…uh…baseballs too hard.

That’s a funny way of spelling concrete filling. But my strike rate will drop with mass. That’s just physics. What to do? Welded Winter tire studs? 3" screws from one end to the other? It’s getting complicated. Ash sounds like a much simpler solution.
