lol, i’m not convinced that they’ve woken up. More like… It’s nice when one their lower-tier reporters (who can still think independently) gets to punch through and speak their mind once in a while. Although, the cynic in me believes that it’s just a bit sprinkled in the shit here-and-there for the purpose of maintaining the pretense of respectability with what still remains of “the left” among the readership of NYT after its massive capitulation to the Trump regime.
