I think relatively speaking, it is true. However, the reason we got trump 2 is they didn’t do their job the first time. The reason we got trump 1 is because they didn’t do it of Nixon.
And they’re not going to reopen the straits after the election. That’s desperate cope from the market. This is just the new normal. They’re not influencing an election like North Vietnam had to do, Iran is directly bringing the USA to it’s knees. If I remember correctly Johnson called a recess which meant they couldn’t vote on it. He can’t do that with this apparently as it has a very short timeline as to when it has to be voted on as it’s considered high crimes and misdemeanors
