An attorney at President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice sent an apology letter to the court and to the plaintiffs after the president’s controversial taxpayer-funded ads continued to air hundreds of times in violation of the judge’s order.

Someone else suggested we should start arresting people doing the low-level things, like cutting down trees, or tearing down the East wing, and then let the courts fight it out.
I think that should be done in every possible instance like this - send in cops to arrest people running these ads.
Scare the shit out of people being asked to do illegal and immoral things.
Donnie keeps doing things and then it takes weeks/months/years to fight it or try to slow it down or stop it. What should be done is start creating examples of those carrying it out. By acting first - meaning, arrest, then let it shake out. If someone else steps up, arrest them as well.

The people running these ads are the ones that own the police departments.
That really is the problem. The executive is the enforcement arm of the government. Plus the far right has owned law enforcement for a long time. The FBI even published a report years ago that discussed the threat of white nationalists coopting police forces.

I’ve seen countless interviews with former white nationalists laying out how they systematically corrupt police and make it so only their guys are in charge. They had an organized operation to do this around the country simultaneously while staying under FBI radar. Eventually they get their guys in the FBI too. This has been going on for decades. Now they’re white supremacist gangs.
Not the first time. Scientology wanted tax-exempt status as a religion, and they weren’t getting cooperation from the IRS, so they had their followers get jobs in IRS offices all over America, and work hard to strategically achieve promotions and transfers, until they controlled enough of the bureaucracy to facilitate their application, and finally get declared tax exempt.

The people running these ads are broadcast playout operators who are just doing what the schedule says to do. Maybe aim a bit higher.
