Strangely enough, I found him more believable (barely) and slightly less hatable (slightly) when he still presented himself as a gormless sociopath in a suit. At least it was the true him.
But the fake Hawaii surf-boy look? Jesus… He couldn’t pull that one off if his life depended on it. I really don’t know how he thinks he’s fooling anyone.
They are surrounded by yes-people, agreeing with everything they say, they remove anyone willing to call them out when they are wrong, so they lose perspective on such things I think.
