Piker has openly applauded Hamas’ terrorism

Shit, I know this one: “But Palestinians have a right to exist in their own country” - “ANTISEMITISM! YOU SUPPORT TERRORISM!”

In this day and age, you know you are on to something, when the government tries to silence you using out of context clips.

It’s antisemitism when one advocates for the liberation of an oppressed people (who are currently experiencing a genocide, ffs!).

“Congress” as in two House representatives…

Democratic Representative Josh Gottheimer and Republican Mike Lawler on Wednesday introduced a resolution to target “the rise of antisemitic, hate-filled rhetoric disseminated by prominent online personalities, including Hasan Piker and Candace Owens, and calling on social media platforms and public leaders to take stronger action against hate.”

The Republican is obviously gonna be a piece shit, and the Dem is a textbook neoliberal:

Gottheimer was a speechwriter for Bill Clinton and served as an adviser to the presidential campaigns of Wesley Clark, John Kerry, and Hillary Clinton. He has also worked for Burson Cohn & Wolfe, the Federal Communications Commission, Ford Motor Company, and Microsoft.

Gottheimer’s net worth was between $16.9 and $75.3 million in 2023, and he and his wife Marla Tusk, who is general counsel at the political consulting firm Tusk strategies, reported $897,617 in joint income.[2]

It seems counter productive to point the finger at “congress” and not the two House reps who are trying to grab headlines.

Unless you want to make this Twitch streamer seem overly important…

Hasan gets millions of views every day across Twitch and YouTube, has very important and influential guests, goes to major events, and now is helping actual leftists win elections.

Fox News can’t shut the fuck up about him, they’re doing like 6 smear pieces per day now. Mark Levin keeps complaining. CNN and MSNOW are joining the fray. He’s Johnathan Greenblatt’s favorite boogeyman.

Dude is ascending beyond being “just some Twitch streamer”

        Congratulations?

If I was the nepo nephew of a genocide supporting podcaster who got me in on the ground floor…

Well, I probably still wouldn’t be hypocritical enough to pretend to be a socialist from a million dollar plus West Hollywood mansion, but hey, some people are grifters.

Dude is ascending beyond being “just some Twitch streamer”

I was trying to be nice…

If I wasn’t, I’d say he’s probably right wing and just trying to divide the left…

        Edit:

        People might not know:

At the center of the Young Turk Revolution stood the Committee of Union and Progress (CUP) (Ittihad ve Terakki Jemiyeti) formed in 1895. Its members came to be known as Ittihadists or Unionists. The most ideologically committed party in the entire movement, the CUP espoused a form of Turkish nationalism which was xenophobic and exclusionary in its thinking. Its policies threatened to undo the tattered fabric of a multi-ethnic and multi-religious society.

        https://www.armenian-genocide.org/young_turks.html

Hasan’s uncle founded “The Young Turks” podcast thing after being on Sirius.

Hasan isn’t some kid that got famous for his views or even talent, he’s a fucking nepo baby, shit that his fans supposedly are opposed to.

It’s funny that you apparently have a bunch of bullet points handy regarding this unimportant streamer lol.

Also “dividing the left”? Big red flag there.

American Liberals are not left wing, no matter how many times Fox News calls you “radical leftists”.

Also acting like Hasan’s twitch is only watched because of his uncle is a wild strawman to try and defend, especially when he’s broken from the viewpoints of that show and of his uncle many times., especially lately.

But sure, we’ll sit around and wait for a poor nobody, a diamond in the rough, to rise up and the Second Coming of Jesus™ to “unite the left” and in the meantime “nothing needs to fundamentally change” right? I’m disinterested in fighting this nonsensical, DGG-style argument any longer. This horseshit is on the level of “Hasan shocks his dog on stream”, it’s easily verifiably false and honestly it reeks of ulterior motive. Have a good one.

            Uhhh…

Yeah man, I know about shit before I talk about it?

Why would it better if I didn’t know what I was talking about?

I don’t understand what point you’re trying to make logical.

Did you just feel like insulted your favorite twitch streamer so now you had to “insult” me by teasing me about checks notes again, being informed?

“Congress” as in two House representatives…

Never thought about it that way. I’m going to have to re-read a lot of headlines…
