    Yes, boycotts matter. Real boycotts, like the Montgomery bus boycott that lasted for months and truly hurt the recipient financially - what MLK called “economic withdrawal”.

    Punctual boycotts like buying nothing for one day, or not watching something on TV, are just feel-good stuff that actually achieve nothing at all.

    Also, I will point out that it took a lot more than not listening to Hitler’s speeches on the radio to defeat him.

    So yeah, do not watch the matches if it makes you feel better. But it won’t change a damn thing.

      Well thank god we have heroes like you to remind us that our minor acts of resistance are completely pointless. God forbid we build up to anything 🙄
