I vaguely like him and think he’s charismatic but I’m not sure that translates into a candidate valuable enough to risk them coming into office with -1 Senate seats.
If he were some uniquely extraordinary political force that could meaningfully move Democratic and national politics maybe it’d be different, but he’s just kind of moderately progressive and moderately talented. I’m not even sure if he’s the best senator from Georgia.
I voted for Ossoff and Warnock(what felt like 10 fucking times because of special elections) before moving states, I like him, but I think he’s what the DNC want to offer as a controlled compromise if their most preferred candidates are outright rejected in favor of a candidate running on a platform more closer to the Mamdani/DSA spectrum
Ossoff would be an excellent Democratic Presidential candidate. He’s young, articulate, a family man, and a centrist. Georgia is a swing state. If he wins there, it will mean he is able to win voters from a broad political spectrum.

What’s wrong with being married and having children? It seems like something most people would want to do. Hillary Clinton is old and represented NY, a blue state as senator.
There is nothing wrong about it, it’s just irrelevant, but for Americans it’s almost used religiously as an argument for being a good candidate.
That’s what makes it moronic.But to many voters, it is relevant. They think something’s wrong with a person who doesn’t want a family. Remember, the goal is to get as many votes as possible.
