Donald J. Trump’s businesses received at least $7.8 million from 20 foreign governments during his presidency, according to new documents released by House Democrats on Thursday that show how much he received from overseas transactions while he was in the White House, most of it from China.
The transactions, detailed in a 156-page report called “White House For Sale” that was produced by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, offer concrete evidence that the former president engaged in the kind of conduct that House Republicans have labored, so far unsuccessfully, to prove that President Biden did as they work to build an impeachment case against him.
I’m looking forward to results from studies on the Pope’s religious affiliation, ursine arboreal defecation preferences, and determining if dihydrogen monoxide is wet.
Shocking! Next they’re going to imply that Trump somehow was affiliated with a riot or something!

And of course, this is exactly why we had the “norm” of presidents divesting themselves and placing their business interests in blind trusts.
Instead, Trump completely ignored that and claims his business was just running as normal and the fact that these foreign governments paid his business was just “normal business” (I’ve got a bridge to sell you for 400x over market price).
Just really demonstrates how openly corrupt he is and the contempt he holds for the rule of law and our principles.
