From what I remember when they tried doing this last time that deep sea mining is catastrophically bad for the ocean floor.
Yes. Basically, it’s deep sea dredging. it kicks up a shit ton of silt/sand/rocks and destroys all life in that area.
I don’t think the care one whiff.
