The goal for MAGA is to get another Al Qaeda or ISIS. There have been several reports and studies that acts like this are what motivate and increase the number of terrorist groups.

Literally just terrorists making more terrorists.

Anyways making the dude rot in a private ran prison is way more of a punishment than getting a quick bullet to the head.

Yep. Dude said he wants to be a martyr. I think just letting him live the rest of his years in prison is a much better option, all the way around.

But all too often, the dumbest and least moral monkeys on the planet are the ones calling the shots.

Moron wants to play YouTube because it’s literally the one job he can wrap is alcohol-soaked brain around

He is in all other ways an ineffectual small and insecure little nazi who beats his wife and touches little kids

It is going to be very embarrassing when they do it and everyone realizes that ISIS and the cartels have already mastered the art of making a spectacle of executing people.

I hate living in a country where people think this is inevitable. These people are the dumbest among us. They are physically and mentally ugly. They believe dumb fuck shit. The only response they should get is well take 10 for every 1 but, no. They are dumb and ugly and we are pussies.

I believe ISIS wrote a few articles on the art of executing people in their magazine, Dabiq.

I was just listening to the audiobook for Enlightenment Now.

And man is this a gut-punch: he was talking about the overall trend, worldwide, of capital punishment trending downwards. Including in the United States.

He talks a bit about how the U.S. is an outlier among first world countries in that we still even have it, and how we are in the company of some rather awful nation-states when it comes to still having the death penalty - China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, etc. You know, real beacons of freedom. Then he quotes someone (?) that said it may be possible that even in America, and even in the Southern states, it may trend to zero.

By 2026. The book is from 2018.

Well, I guess we missed that chance. But as long as we keep electing stupid apes like donnie and having bloodthirsty assholes like Hegseth who clearly peaked in high school running things…it might be a while.

Wait, so why is the army executing him, does it not go through the civilian courts in the jurisdiction they are in? Like I know they have their own thing, but I thought capital cases like this were decided by county courts.

It’s weird if they convicted in military court and then execute, that’s a bad precedent to set.

His crimes were committed on a military installation and he was active duty, it falls to their courts.

I looked it up, for a capital crime it’s a general court martial, if the death penalty is on the table it needs to be unanimous with 12 members, which are hand picked by the convening authority and judge but can be challenged by the defendant that has representation.

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_military_jury

The last guy they executed was in 1961 or something, some mentally challenged soldier that raped and killed an 11 year old in South Carolina or something.

I support this. Doing executions in secret only serves to protect capital punishment supporters and prison officials from discomfort and pain. America should have to look at what it’s done.

      capital punishment supporters

      discomfort and pain

I don’t think most of them even have normal human empathy. I’ve seen lots and lots of these kinds of arguments, and what people seem to be missing in these arguments is that some people have no moral compass. It will give them no pain and no discomfort whatsoever.

Remember this: people used to take their kids and have a goddamned picnic while people were being lynched. It was family entertainment for them. We still have people among us that would go right back to that sort of thing if permitted.
