President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance on Tuesday announced a $25 million program to encourage the public to blow the whistle on suspected fraud in the U.S. government as they ramp up efforts to end the abuse of federal programs and dollars.

The White House said that under the Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program, or WHIP, anyone who submits a tip to fraud.gov that leads to a fraud conviction or a significant federal enforcement action is eligible to receive up to $30,000, and that the Justice Department will administer the program.

During the announcement, Trump said payments will work out to a 1% commission on the dollar amount of fraud the tip helps uncover. Trump also said he will decide who gets to collect reward money in cases where more than one person claims to have provided the tip.

“I will be the arbitrator of all these decisions,” Trump said during an Oval Office event Tuesday with Vance and other administration officials. “It’ll be a binding arbitration.”

They’re teeing up their new project (complete with distractions in the form of stupid shit he said) that aims to disqualify voters that are pending trumped-up fraud charges.

This is all part of his start the steal campaign. It’s the cowards choice in victory.

Hi, yes I would like to make a report. Who is it? Oh it’s the president of the United States and his entire cabinet, they are committing fraud and stealing from the citizens of the US.

Classic. This will surely mean people won’t expect fraud from the ones taking the reporting.

This is misdirection in its purest and most naïve form.

I’m going to be the world’s second trillionaire after submitting all the news stories about this administration from the last 2 years.

Seems automatable. A python script that looks for articles with “Trump” and “abuse of power” in the article, submits a tip, and logs the article as sent so as not to repeat anything. Run it on a cron job scheduled once a minute, should take a few years to get in all the submissions.

It’s not about calling out fraud. He knows if somebody fabricates that the election was rigged (and he will make this claim), he will make every effort to disregard the election results and make it so that it never happened.

It is again theatrics, corruption, and lies. Yet again, we will probably let him get away with it 'cause we don’t want to pull a France and remove them by force. I guess more people will keep dying in the meantime.

I’m sure “randomly”, people who submit tips about Trump & Co will randomly be tax audited, watched social media, unmarked vans in the neighborhoods, arrested for fake claims or incidents to tie them up in litigation, etc… This is an easy way to call out anyone who opposes them! It’s a honeypot in other words.

In the entire history of voting, I’m not sure there has been enough fraud to constitute such a reward. Which obviously they would never be paying.
