But this guy hated trump? do you think this was a psyop like five years in the making? I mean, they can obviously try to get as much sympathy out of it as they can now and try to dominate the news cycle with it, but are we seriously suggesting this is some sort of conspiracy?

Yes, we are seriously suggesting something like that.

You gotta realize that all these federalist society judges are coordinating WAY more than most people realize with the RNC and republican politicians. It’s a big club, and you (and I) ain’t in it.

Edit: Merp, I misinterpreted the context. You weren’t referring to Roberts.

The only part that shocks me, well, puzzles me really, is that the potential shooter knew where and when to be at the club when there was nothing on Trump’s schedule saying he would be there.

It’s because every Sunday, he plays golf at whatever of his golf clubs is nearest to his last event. The secret service begged him not to do that.

When Obama played golf, he played on courses on military bases that are secure by design.

Trump is a creature of habits.

When he’s at Mar-A-Shit-Go, he likes to go golfing at this particular golf course of his. So. it’s only a matter of time before trump shows up at the golf course; which, all this guy would have had to do is, hang around and wait for it.

attempts on presidents’ lives are not rare in US history

And that’s why the Secret Service is as comprehensive as it is. Ultimately, the democracy responds to problems.

The only thing shocking about it is that this shit didn’t start sooner. Fuck, if I so much as flip the bird at the driver in the car next to me, there’s a non-zero chance the response will be a bullet in my face.

If I directed the amount of hate and caused the amount of damage to the number of people that Trump has, I expect I’d look like Swiss cheese before I could do much as put the mic down.

People scoff at the secret service for a couple of supposed close calls, but the fact that this isn’t happening on a weekly basis speaks volumes in support of their competence.
