I’d love for conservatives to be made to answer this question: if their ideas are so popular, so mainstream, and so many Americans hold these “common sense” positions (conservatives and their Murc’s Law Media simps looooove to claim that most people identify as conservative, etc.), why do they have to lie, cheat and steal to maintain power at every fucking turn?

They genuinely believe they’re identifying and defeating a mass fraud conspiracy. Fox News and worse have done a phenomenal job of building echo chambers that convince them the libs are a bunch of cheating charlatans and that’s the only reason they have the popular vote.

Their worldview is completely wrapped around this and so anything to the contrary is ignored as evidence of the conspiracy.

every accusation is an admission of guilt. its a rule at this point. if theyre claiming someone else is doing something you can go ahead and assume theyre doing it themselves.

They’re like the flat Earthers that actually try experiments that end up proving themselves wrong, yet they continue denying it afterwards

As a matter of fact having something upset their world view is catastrophic to their entire psyche, so they completely ignore reality, most especially when it stares them in the face. It’s cult behavior through and through.

That’s why they are calling it voter fraud. In their eyes anybody can just steal a ballot out of somebody’s mailbox and fill it out and send it in. And nobody would know. So because it’s possible, it means the democrats are doing it and that’s the only reason they win.

Keep in mind that even though Trump won in 2016 he said there was voter fraud that made it so he didn’t win the popular vote. They have been setting up this narrative for years if not decades.

Of course the republicans in power know exactly what they’re doing and why.

They don’t believe it though. Only the particularly dumb sheep believe the democrats are cheating.

The ones making these arguments, their politicians, pr people, power brokers, business dickheads, they ALL know it’s a lie and betrayal of the republic, not that ignorance is an excuse for a grown learned person betray America.

There’s a lot of dumb sheep though. A LOT. Living in the south I meet tons of people that will casually throw out “voter fraud” and “illegals voting” all the time. They know it happens. And whether it’s a significant amount or not, it needs to be stopped. And democrats are throwing interference cause it benefits them.

This is the argument. They don’t think it would change the results. Meanwhile, the politicians that are lying about voter fraud know that legitimate voters would be disenfranchised and that would change the results.

I’m not saying we should forgive them for being idiots. Just good to know who we’re fighting against.

Yes, these are the ones that I want cornered and made to answer. The dumbasses that believe Faux is a real news channel are mostly too stupid to know better. I’m talking about the thought leaders.

They genuinely believe that “the other side” is doing it too, so if they don’t do it then they will lose and they will have failed the “majority”.

This is exactly it. Everyone else is doing it so I might as well get mine. They can’t imagine that someone would not take advantage when given the chance.

Our government will continue to do whatever it wants until the people act. Violence or stopping the flow of money, those are our only options and both require sacrifice that I fear most people aren’t ready to for.

This is such a profound breach of civil liberties, I sure hope there’s enough of the government left to stop this.

      It’s on us.

Start asking local officials to arrange for volunteer ballot delivery and print-at-home

Basically all the crazy computer security problems start affecting ballots. You really don’t want to do this if it can possibly be avoided. Particularly not in the US where you don’t have any kind of universal way to identify people online in any kind of reliable way.
