Noem, who was tasked with leading Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown from January 2025 to March 2026 and previously served as South Dakota’s governor, is seeking a divorce from Bryon Noem in their home state. The two married in May 1992 and have three children.

The filing, submitted to the court in April but posted online on Monday, comes after questions arose earlier this year about the nature of Kristi Noem’s relationship with a top adviser. The complaint, filed in Hamlin County, South Dakota, notes “irreconcilable differences” as grounds for the divorce.

FUN FACT: Conservatives do not experience affection for their spouse or children the same way normal people do. A conservative is biologically unable to experience empathy. This prevents them from developing deep emotional bonds the way normal people do.

This is why conservatives love their spouse and children as property rather than as humans. A conservative man loves his wife exactly the same way a teenager “loves” a sportscar. It’s a strong emotion, but not a deep emotional bond.

for the people that doubt this I’ll share my first hand experience. i grew up in a very religious conservative house. i got into an argument when i was a teenager with my dad about my own personal autonomy. basically about not being allowed to do things that actually make my life more positive, like having friends he disapproved of or listening to the music i liked. afterwards i talked to my mother about how she puts up with him and his controlling behavior. she basically said, ‘you and i are his property we have to do what he says because God.’ that was the day i left religion and conservative ideas; realized it was all just about having power over others.
