Freedom Fuel gas stations, which the Trump administration promoted last month, sold fuel that its supplier never paid for, a lawsuit filed earlier this month claims.

The suit, which attorneys for Mansfield Oil Company filed in U.S. District Court in Eastern Pennsylvania on Aug. 19, alleges that foreign corporation KRSM obtained in excess of 1.1 million gallons of fuel from the former company’s account from May 21 through July 7.

The fuel cost nearly $4 million, the 179-page lawsuit states. But as of Aug. 17, KRSM had not paid for the fuel, despite Mansfield — a foreign corporation with offices in Gainesville, Ga. — sending revised invoices to the defendant on July 17.

A Trump affiliated company was committing a crime? Surely something like this has never happened before.

At this point if Trump endorses a company the DOJ might as well just automatically launch an investigation into them because it’s practically guaranteed their guilty of something even if it’s just false advertising.

It’s kind of the opposite. If Trump endorses a company, his DOJ immediately goes into coverup mode for the company. And if the company is seeking government contracts, it will get them at a better rate than any other company and probably get a no bid contract.

This is part of how kleptocracy works. Coming up next, accusing your enemies of tax fraud and throwing them in prison.

I did a little looking into it, and as far as I can tell:

    • Trump had nothing to do with anything except posting about it
    • The initial prices were a loss leader, they’ve been raising them to normal
    • Although this might account for like 20-30% of the gas they’ve sold, I don’t think it was related to the price
    • The owners have some history with a lawsuit from 2021 about… not paying suppliers for gasoline

So headline is a bit clickbaity, but whatever. Take my comments above or don’t, up to you.

No, he said “Well, I raped children on child rape island, what else could I do? Genocide? Nazi Resurgence? World War Three? Why not all of the above!”

Given that this is a page right out of Trump’s playbook, one wonders if it was his idea passed down, or if they just sought to emulate him. Either way it’s going to be more common to stiff people as this becomes a norm.

What i like about this is that it likely stiffed people who voted for him and I love that for them
