First order of business from a normal Congress should be to pass something prohibiting anything like these banners and from any President building monuments to himself, putting his fucking face on coins, or anything like that. Also, no unilateral changes to any building, including the WH. Has to go through Congress.

Even when those people don’t agree with him, they keep it to themselves because Trump’s cult leader status allows him to completely destroy the standing of critics within his party with just a few words.

Agreed he is that stupid, but still why not answer the call to help the Saudis when they asked for help which is making rounds in the news. Seems like a perfect way to extort/grift them which is truly one of his goals, smaug levels of wealth.

He wants what’s best for himself. Which means he stays in power and out of prison. And he keeps adding to his personal wealth.
I think his narcissism won’t allow him one iota of humility, even if that gets him what he wants, which is even more money for himself and his rotten family and staying out of prison.
So coming up with some exit that makes him look somewhat better on the economy, but he has to be humbled, before the election is not an option.
That’s probably why he is angling so hard to openly cheat and steal the midterms. Even telling his zombies to take a pledge to cheat at the election, just so long as they win.
See and this is the puzzling thing, they must know the upcoming election is rigged, and are okay with whatever new world order emerges in the ashes. For every dumb person in this administration, there is a more sinister and calculating person pulling the strings…

They keep pushing hard to get other election stealing schemes through, and GOP candidates are panicking like crazy. Is that all smoke & mirrors? Or do they really have that little faith they can successfully steal the elections?
It’s possible that those folks are just instruments of chaos without being privileged with the information of whats coming, that or promises have been broken and its all just a chaotic scramble to CYA. On the one hand, I agree that there’s more than what we can see going on, both who is in control and the strategy. But on the other hand, part of conspiracy mindset is the comfort in thinking there’s some mastermind at work that only you know about… because the alternative would be that this is it, what you see is what’s actually making decisions, and that is far more frightening than some secret council or lizard people pulling strings. Yep that makes sense, nobody agreeing on a definitive path with multiple people tugging at the wheel. That tracks. All I know is its going to get messier before it gets better, if that is even possible now.
My take is that it is very much a conspiracy, and not even a particularly well disguised one. It’s actually pretty obvious which is why it’s stunning that so many people simply refuse to see it. Also, it’s a conspiracy of not very smart, but very influential people. The most terrifying option of all is that this isn’t humble stupidity, this is highly coordinated and advanced stupidity by morons who think they’re geniuses because they’ve talked the desperate and the delusional into buying their nonsense.
